Family Gingerbread Workshop -- Heritage Museums Sandwich
For those who have always longed to build a gingerbread house but were intimidated by the process, here is your chance to create a beautiful display for the holidays. Let Heritage provide all of the supplies and the guidance, you provide the creativity. Come by yourself or bring a family member of any age to this festive family program and create fun holiday memories! Heritage staff will go over basic construction, frosting, and decorating techniques, and will also be on hand to assist you as needed. You not only build a house, but also get to create a yard, people, and maybe even a car! While assembling these yummy houses, we will provide more snacks to munch on so everyone's sweet tooth will be happy!

Christmas in Edgartown
Christmas in Edgartown is a Vineyard tradition shared by young and old. Lighting events, like the Evening of Enchantment, the lighthouse, and the tree, brighten evenings for shopping and wandering the festively decorated streets and shops. Santa arrives during the parade; he shares breakfast and photo ops with the children. Gourmet events include wine tastings, the Great Chowder Contest and the Cookie Tasting Contest and much more!
A Polar Bear’s Journey -- Worcester
Chris Van Allsburg’s winter tale, The Polar Express, comes to life on the EcoTarium’s Explorer Express Train in this fun holiday journey for families with young children. Enjoy a special holiday story time, meet Santa Claus and board the Explorer Express Train to visit the EcoTarium’s North Pole, home of Kenda the polar bear! Afterwards, warm up with hot cocoa and cookies. Three programs each day lasting 60 minutes each. Location: EcoTarium A Museum of Science and Nature, 222 Harrington Way.
