Macy's Boston Thanksgiving Parade
Parade Route: Macys Downtown Crossing up Washington Street to City Hall Plaza, November 19, 2006
In Boston, plans call for an exhibit about parade history, plus entertainment by clowns, stilt walkers, and a musical revue. While festivities will be largely stationary and confined to City Hall Plaza, plans call for Snoopy to lead a mini parade of marching musicians to the Macy's store in Downtown Crossing.
Macy’s Boston Christmas Tree Lighting, 1st annual Macy’s Christmas Tree Lighting
Friday, November 24th, from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Summer Street
The evening will include a free outdoor performance by local theatre groups; dancers from the Boston Ballet performing an excerpt from the Nutcracker playing at the Opera House November 24 - December 30; and of course the official arrival of Santa Claus. |
