Bethlehem Christmas Town Festival
Festival will be held at the junction of Rte. 61 and Rte. 132. on Friday, Dec. 2nd. from 5-10 p.m., and Sat. Dec. 3rd., from 10-4 p.m. Santa, arts and crafts, hayrides, carolers on the village green. The 12 Dinosaurs of Christmas -- Montville
This event is a unique twist on the 12 Days of Christmas carol, themed with dinosaur scenes to illustrate new lyrics. This version will be played throughout the event. Location: The Dinosaur Place at Nature’s Art, 1650 Route 85.
Santa Arrives by Tugboat Mystic
Santa arrives on the Kingston II tugboat, to greet the crowd and listen to all the children's holiday wishing. Enjoy Christmas caroling while waiting for Santa. Location: Mystic River Park. Cost: Free.
Santa Comes to the Florence Griswold Museum -- Old Lyme
Climb aboard a charming wagonette for a horse drawn ride with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Make a gingerbread ornament. Location: 96 Lyme Street.
Winterfest -- East Windsor
Ride a restored trolley as you travel through a tunnel of colored lights. Return to the winter wonderland with model trains, entertainment, refreshments, and visit with Santa. Location: Connecticut Trolley Museum, Route 140.
Santa on the Trolley -- East Haven
Ride cozy, heated trolleys to visit Santa and see model train layouts. Each child receives a gift, refreshments, unlimited rides. Location: Shore Line Trolley Museum, 17 River Street.
“Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas” -- East Haddam
Based on director Jim Henson's television program, this twist on "The Gift of the Magi" features a lovable mix of actors and puppet characters from The Jim Henson Company and a toe-tapping score. It’s a classic holiday musical for all ages. Location: Goodspeed Opera House, 6 Main Street.
